Team News

There are no new injury concerns following Tuesday's clash with Stockton Town

What We're Saying

Speaking after the defeat to Stockon, First-Team Manager Michael Connor said: “We're super proud of them. We've tried to do things a certain way, and we're down on numbers, and we've had three or four good opportunities but they've done us with a super goal.

“There were so many positives to take from that, with how we defended and counter-attacked. But we were playing a team that's been together all season, and you can see the movement off the ball, they're settled. At times we were just caught a bit flat-footed. But to be fair we've defended really well today.

"It's just not happening for us. We're bringing players back from long-term injuries, and it'll take them a bit of time to get that match sharpness."

Opposition

Leek currently sit in 13th place in the Northern Premier League, and are in good form, winning four of their last six and losing just once, in the meantime, lifting themselves four points clear of the relegation zone.

The Blues' last match was a 1-0 win over Prescot Cables last Saturday, with Louis Potts scoring the only goal of the game.

Last Time We Met

Earlier this season, Spartans suffered a 1-0 defeat on the road at Harrison Park as Oliver Shenton's strike before the halftime break sealed victory for the hosts.
