Just doing my job insists Magic Mike

A clean sheet, a penalty save and a win with nine men isn't a bad way to introduce yourself to the Spartans faithful but that's exactly what Michal Misiewicz managed to do on his debut. The Canadian Under 23 International was played an integral role in his side's 1-0 win over Witton Albion but he was quick to pass on any plaudits to his team mates insisting he was only doing his job.
"It was a hot day and the lads worked hard. I just did my job making saves when I had to and I am happy with the result. Everyone in the back four and everyone in the team in fact dealt with everything they could throw at us very well. I had confidence in them that they wouldn't get behind us. Everyone did their job"
With Spartans expecting to have to contend with heavy Albion pressure during the second period in reality they were the better side. Misiewicz felt that his side "dictated" the pace of the game as they created several chances and were fully deserving of another three points on the road.
"Obviously after the penalty save we managed to calm things down. We dictated the pace in the second half and didn't really let the sending off cause us any real issues. They tried to get on top of us but we didn't let them and it's credit to everyone that we have come away with the win"
