MINUTES OF THE EXECUTIVE MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 21st of SEPTEMBER.

Present; Mr A. Platten, Mr K. Scott, Mr I. Evans, Mr G. Young & Mr C. Baxter
Apologies; Mr S. Ord & Mr R. Harding

1. MINUTES OF LAST MEETING.

a) The minutes of the last meeting (24.08.09) were approved.

2. MATTERS ARISING.

a) CB confirmed that an acceptable discount has been received from Lees Travel.
b) IKE reported poster distribution was now at 64 sites and included shops/pubs & clubs in Sluice & Delaval.
c) IKE reported that the VIZ tracksuits have been delivered but we were still waiting on players t-shirts and replacement socks and shorts as ordered. He has sent reminders to the supporters club.
d) IKE confirmed that after appeal C McCabe's suspension was reduced to 14 days and as such Chris will miss 2 matches.
e) KS reported that the waste bins would be available soon. The light outside the kit room requires installing.

3. CORRESPONDENCE.

a) ARP confirmed letter sent to Durham regarding matters concerning P Brayson.
b) CB has received a request from Companies House regarding year's results, which he will complete electronically.
c) Letter of apology received from Corby Town regarding the number of guests attending at the recent fixture.
d) IKE has responded to the league regarding the charge of late team sheet submission for the Vauxhall Motors fixture.
e) All Conference teams have been asked to sign a confirmation note that they are currently not in the throws of insolvency and that we do not anticipate an insolvency event in the next 12 months. IKE will return the document confirming no problems.
f) IKE confirmed receipt of the Conference Board minutes for August. These were to be kept on file.

4. ANY OTHER BUSINESS.

a) We were awaiting the details from Carlsberg regarding a revised sponsorship offer.
b) After discussion it was reaffirmed that only players and club officials and volunteers would travel on the team bus.
c) IKE reviewed the current disciplinary records and confirmed that S Turnbull's booking at Gloucester was his 5th and that he would be suspended for 1 match, likely to be the Alfreton game.
d) After discussion ARP confirmed that he would set up a meeting with the supporters who have shown an interest in joining the executive board. It was confirmed that there were 6 candidates and that this project was still open to further volunteers. KS will advertise again on the website.

5. NEXT MEETING.

The next meeting will be held on MONDAY 5th of OCTOBER at 6 PM.
