Blyth Spartans AFC is pleased to announce Ade Gbolahan has joined on a non-contract basis.
The striker arrives at Croft Park having finished last season at National League South outfit Eastbourne Borough.
Gbolahan joined Eastbourne in January and scored on his debut in a 2-2 draw with Concord Rangers.
He went on to feature in a further three games for the The Sports before the campaign was cut short due the coronavirus pandemic.
Gbolahan was registered in time for this afternoon's National League North clash with Southport at Croft Park.
Michael Nelson, manager of Blyth Spartans said: "We have signed Ade on a short-term deal because we need to look at him in a match situation, rather than just in training.
"We like the look of him, he's strong, quick and athletic.
"He came in on Tuesday and trained well, he came back on Thursday and showed a bit more.
"We spoke to him and his agent and thought we would see how he copes in the short-term before seeing where we can go with him.
"Credit to him, because the lads backed himself and it's all done, so hopefully he can play a part on Saturday."
