Arrival | Michael Cain join Blyth Spartans

Blyth Spartans AFC is pleased to announce the arrival of former Leicester City youngster Michael Cain on a deal until late-January.
The 25-year-old featured for Blyth in pre-season, partnering Simon Heslop in the midfield during the 2-2 draw with Hartlepool United at Croft Park.
He has been training at Northern League side Bishop Auckland in order to build his fitness but now puts pen to paper on a three-month deal with Spartans.
Cain started out in Luton Town's academy system before joining Leicester City for an undisclosed fee in 2013.
During his four years at the King Power Stadium, Cain gained vital Football League experience at Mansfield Town, Blackpool and Walsall - the latter being his most successful loan with 38 appearances and three goals.
Since his release from the Premier League club, Cain initially spent time in-and-around his hometown with spells at Whitehawk, Hemel Hempstead Town and Hitchin Town.
Most recently, Cain played in Thailand for Bankhai United before returning to England.
Cain said: "I'm delighted to join. It's something I was hoping could get pushed over the line and thankfully we were able to do it.
"The gaffer played a big role. He's very well-respected by close friends of mine who he used to play with and having spoken to him, I believed it was the ideal place to progress with my football."
Michael Nelson, manager of Blyth Spartans, said: "We're delighted to get him in.
"We had him on trial in pre-season. He played a full 90 minutes against Hartlepool and did very well.
"Michael arrives at a good age - in his mid-20s - and has played a good number of games.
"Similar to Liam Agnew and Simon Heslop, he's got EFL experience under his belt and has played abroad as well.
"It's good to have another experienced lad in there to help the younger boys who will be on the pitch at the same time. The more experience, the better.
"He'll give us that bit of bite and definitely give us more quality in the midfield."
