This was a repeat fixture to the final game of last season, however then, Marine needed a win to avoid relegation and Blyth needed a win to reach the play offs; Marine won 2-1. Fast forward 12 months and this time around Blyth had already reached the play offs and Marine had already secured safety, Marine once again won 2-1.
