MAN OF THE MATCH

Jamie Mole

With two goals on his home debut, Mole just edged out the outstanding Lee Mason for the man of the match award. The former Hearts striker took his first goal well with a clinical finish after being presented the chance on a plate following a sloppy pass from a Droylsden defender.

Mole then won the game for his new club when he latched onto a pass from Neal Hooks before rounding the goalkeeper and sending Blyth through to the first round proper with an emphatic finish. Aside from his goals, Mole worked tirelessly for the team and was a constant threat to the Droylsden rearguard.
