This was Mickleovers first ever visit to Croft Park, arriving on the back of three consecutive league wins (Hyde Utd, Skelmersdale & Buxton). The first half saw S.Reid give Blyth the early lead. However, Blyth stepped up a level in the second half finding the net on another three occasions as they demolished an on form Mickleover side.
