Blyth Spartans looking to Strengthen Media Team
Wednesday, 10 August 2016
It is usually the case that footballers who perform well at non-league Clubs are snapped up by professional Clubs but at Blyth Spartans the same happens to its media team. Over recent years the media team's output has been of the highest quality and this has been recognised. Blyth's most recent loss, Matt Riggs, is now employed by West Ham and before that Club lost its video producer to Liverpool.
The Spartans are now seeking to strengthen their media team after losing two more members who have secured full time employment.
Former members of the media team include Mark Carruthers, now editor of
NonLeagueDaily.com
and pundit on the Football Matters TV show.
"I couldn't recommend working in the media team with Blyth Spartans any higher", Mark declared, "the club, and the people inside, helped not only myself, but a number of volunteers find full-time employment working in the media teams of clubs at the top level.
"The experience I gained throughout my four years at the club, especially during the cup run two years ago, enabled me to move on to my role as Editor of Non-League Daily, write for Four Four Two and to work on the Football Matters TV show.
"Any role inside the Spartans Media setup is ideal for anyone trying to gain experience in this sort of role and the guidance you will receive from the highly-experienced Phil Castiaux is invaluable in itself"
