Blyth Spartans v Boston United Programme preview

Friday, 16 September 2011

Croft Park hosts it's second consecutive Blue Square North game on Saturday, when Boston United make the trip up to the North East.

Joint-managers Lee Canoville and Jason Lee will be hoping their side can add to their impressive away haul of nine points from an possible 12.

However, the Pilgrims have not taken all the spoils from our ground since December 1998 and the Spartans Army will hope this can continue when we welcome them again this weekend.

As ever, fans heading to the game can acquaint themselves with all things Spartans by getting their hands on the club's must-read matchday programme.

Issue five features the regular insight of both manager Steve Cuggy and General Manager Ian Evans, as well as an in-depth interview with Phil Cave, who reveals why last season's poor start to the season is giving him hope for this season and why he is gunning to be involved in this season's FA Cup.

There is also match action from last weekend's clash with Droylsden, in addition to all of the information on our visitors.

The programme costs £2 and will be available prior to kick off at both turnstiles, as well as inside the Social Club and the Club Shop.

If you can't make the game, or indeed any other home fixture, you can order one - in advance of the game - from the Supporters' Club (however, please be aware that stocks are limited.)
