Blyth Spartans v Rushall Olympic Programme Preview
Friday, 19 October 2012
In a year which has seen the "Olympic Spirit" come to the fore, Spartans will be hoping to demoralise their opponents this weekend.
Blyth will be dusting the cobwebs off Croft Park - for their first home game in nearly a month - when eighth-placed Rushall Olympic make their first ever trip to the ground for Saturday's game (3pm kick-off.)
And Paddy Atkinson's men will be looking to record their first win in six games (in all competitions) and also give their new caretaker manager a debut home win.
For those supporters who have been suffering withdrawal symptoms, they can pick up an official match day programme before the game to get all the latest Spartans information.
Top-scorer Craig Farrell opens up for the player interview and discusses his goalscoring exploits, his strike partnership with Phil Airey and our recent cup exits.
Ian Evans uses his column to talk about all of the recent developments at the club and there's also the usual information on our visitors.
Confirming the amount of time since our last home game, the Port of Blyth Player of the Month for September is included and with match action from our three cup games - and a new focus on the Blyth Spartans Juniors - there's more than enough to keep you going until kick-off.
The programme costs £2 and will be available prior to kick-off at both turnstiles, as well as inside the Social Club and the Club Shop.
If you can't make the game, or indeed any other home fixture, you can order one - in advance of the game - from the Supporters' Club (however, please be aware that stocks are limited.)
