Blyth Spartans v Witton Albion Programme Preview

Friday, 14 December 2012

Blyth Spartans will be hoping that it's third time lucky this weekend, when they welcome Witton Albion to Croft Park.

They have already left the Help for Heroes stadium empty-handed twice this season - as a last-gasp penalty denied them an opening day point in the league, before they were outclassed by Albion in the FA Trophy a month later.

However, Spartans will be looking to capitalise on Witton's wariness of returning to a venue where they suffered a 5-1 loss on their last visit, when the two sides meet on Saturday afternoon.

And, as always, the official matchday programme will have all the information you need prior to the 3pm kick-off.

Paddy Atkinson discusses the last home game against FC Unitedof Manchester and reveals why he thinks that result typifies the Evo-Stik League Northern Premier. There is also match action from that game and last weekend's trip to Marine.

Ian Evans and Malcolm Stephenson discuss all things Spartans in their regular columns and the latest Port of Blyth Player of the Month is revealed.

Read up on all of the latest Blyth Spartans Juniors news and find out all of the information on this weekend's visitors as well.

The programme costs £2 and will be available prior to kick-off at both turnstiles, as well as inside the Social Club and the Club Shop.

If you can't make the game, or indeed any other home fixture, you can order one - in advance of the game - from the Supporters' Club (however, please be aware that stocks are limited.)
