TEAM NEWS

It's cup game number three from four in a row for Spartans as we welcome league rivals Darlington 1883 to Croft Park. The two sides met previously in the league in August and a late winner by Darlo's Alan White proved the difference between the sides on the day. The last time they visited Croft Park, which was the FA Cup game last season, which finished with a comfortable 3-0 for Blyth. After Saturday's commanding victory over Newcastle United's U21s, the squad will be looking forward to playing again as we continue our great form.

Darlington 1883 have not played many fixtures recently, due to postponements and cup ties but they will be sharp and will test us to our best, with Tom Wade stating he will be making changes for the tie, with injuries from the weekend and players getting game time from the bench. Matty Wade is 'very doubtful', also right back Alex Nicholson and winger Arran Wearmouth will be both be missing with knocks sustained on Saturday.

OPPOSITION MANAGER

Martin Grey - Has been in charge of the club since 2012. Gained promotion from Northern League to Evo-Stik Premier Division last season, via the play offs.

DANGER MAN

Nathan Cartman - Has recorded nine league goals for Darlo this season, also scored a penalty in their latest game in the FA Trophy.
