TEAM NEWS

Just 2 days after our Sunday fixture at Darlington, Spartans and the ex football league side are back to settle the stalemate which was unable to be broken at Heritage Park over the weekend. The cup game sees the winner of the tie travel to Evo Stik Premier Division side Skelmersdale, a team Blyth recently faced. Tuesday night's game will have a final outcome, whether it be 90 minutes, added time or the dreaded penalty shoot-out.

Tom Wade mixed up his selection on Sunday with Captain Robbie Dale playing up front, with winger Jarrett Rivers sat just behind in a 4-4-1-1 formation, but with the games only 48 hours separating each other, fitness may not be as it could as players may be rested to save them from injury. Dan Maguire was still struggling with a back injury but played a small part of the match on Sunday. Midfielder Paul Robinson will be hoping he gets his chance against his former club to help the Spartans acheive the vital win, a collection of £3000, and another match against the current league leaders.

IN THE AWAY DUG OUT

Martin Grey - Has been in charge of the club since last summer. He is an ex-Sunderland and Oxford United player.

DANGER MAN

Graeme Armstrong - prolific goalscorer for Whitby Town last season and has continued to score after dropping down a division to Darlo.
