TEAM NEWS

With the opportunity to go top of the league with a victory and other results going our way, Blyth will be looking to take full advantage of their good start to the season when they welcome Nantwich Town. With the return of Wearmouth the previous weekend, Tom will have the headache of choosing who gets to start in the green and white shirt - being Blyth of course!

Max Harrop, ex Blyth loanee will be making his first trip back up to Croft Park under the name of a Nantwich player after joining in the summer. Spartans will without the suspended Craig Hubbard and Neal Hooks after the midfield duo were dismissed in the win at Witton Albion. Nantwich have given themselves a good goalscoring record on the road recently, after putting six past bottom side Droyslden and five past Stocksbridge in their last couple fixtures.

IN THE AWAY DUG OUT

Danny Johnson - Has been incharge since the last game of the previous season, which was against Blyth, in which they won 2-1. He spent 6 years at Ashton United before joining the club.

DANGER MAN

Aaron Burns - League's third top goal-scorer with 8 so far, will be a tricky customer
