TEAM NEWS

We welcome Whitby Town to Croft Park for the second time this campaign, after already winning 3-2 in the league back in August, but this time is the next round of the FA Trophy, after Spartans knocked out Cumbrian side Kendal Town. The Seasider's beat Workington to reach this round and will be hoping for a third time around luck against Blyth after already conceding the league double to the team in green and white.

Ryan Hutchinson made a full 90 minute come-back from injury on Tuesday night in the league cup defeat to Darlington 1883. Ash Davis recently rejoined the side, somebody who has played for Whitby Town, he also got 90 minutes in the league cup tie, when Blyth rested Robbie Dale, Dan Maguire, Michael Richardson and Fabian Otte from first team action. The winner of the tie on Saturday will receive £3250 and progress to the 3rd Qualifying round.

IN THE AWAY DUG OUT

Darren Williams - Darren Williams - Ex football league player, he has been in charge since the departure of Tommy Cassidy back in October 2011.

DANGER MAN

Michael Roberts - Michael is Whitby Town's goal scoring threat with 11 league goals, including a penalty midweek in the league cup at Scarborough.
