Club Shop Volunteers Return

Wednesday, 6 November 2024

Blyth Spartans are thrilled to announce the eagerly anticipated return of Ian Hertwick and Anthony Seghini to the club shop.

Alongside their fellow volunteers, Karen Hertwick and Peter Thompson, Ian and Anth will continue where they left off running the club shop following the takeover of the CIC.

Upon returning to his role, Ian said:

It's great to be approached by the members of the CIC and asked to return to run the club shop. They realise that volunteers are the heart and soul of the football club and this fits with their vision of being part of the local community. It's exciting to be back involved, but as with everything, we need the supporters behind us to get the club back to where it belongs.

Spartans chairman Martin Trinder said:

When we came into the club one of our aims was to put volunteers back at the heart of this club. The team in the club shop have done an amazing job for alot of years and we are really happy that they have agreed to return

As a thank you for the loyalty supporters have shown during this time, Spartans are offering a limited time £10 discount on all 2024/25 replicas. Reducing junior shirts to £25, and adults to £35.

The shop will be open during the open training session on Thursday 7th November 6PM - 7PM where you'll be able to get your discounted shirts as well as other Spartans merchandise.

The online shop is a work in progress with items being added daily.

Please join us in welcoming Ian, Anth, Karen and Peter back to where they belong.

Howay Blyth!
