Continued Investment at Croft Park

Blyth Spartans are please to announce that work has started on construction of a new stand over the North (Kingsway) Terrace at Croft Park.
The construction has been funded from the FA Cup winnings accumulated last season.
The work completes Phase 2 of the ground development and ensures supporters on all four sides of the ground have protection against the notorious North East winter weather.
The work will be complete before the centenary match against Newcastle United on Tuesday 4th August and will completes the transformation of the famous Croft Park ground that started in 2003.
Newcastle United were the opposition in the very first match at Croft Park in 1909 and following in the tradition of his predecessor the current Lord Ridley with perform the ceremonial kick off.
Proceeds from the match will be donated to various local charities.
