Departure | Defender Caines Flies South To Sign For Hednesford
Friday, 2 December 2016
Gavin Caines has left Blyth Spartans to sign for fellow Evo-Stik Premier League side Hednesford Town.
The 33-year-old made the switch up north to Croft Park in the summer from Rushall Olympic, but the Walsall-born centre-back has opted to return to the Midlands to sign for the Pitmen.
In total, Caines made 11 appearances for Spartans - as well as making a goalscoring debut on loan at Northern League side South Shields.
The club would like to thank the defender for all of his efforts this season and wish him well for the future.
