Departure | Dylan McGlade returns to Ireland

Sunday, 29 December 2019

Blyth Spartans have agreed to terminate the contract of Dylan McGlade after the player asked to return to Ireland due to homesickness.

The 24-year-old rejoined the club at the beginning of November having previously had a short spell at Croft Park during the 2017/18 campaign.

This time around, McGlade appeared six times for Lee Clark's side - including a goal scored against Alfreton Town in the FA Trophy Third Round Replay.

His last contribution was delivering the free-kick which led to Robbie Dale's stunning winner at Gateshead on Boxing Day.

In total, McGlade departs for a second time with 10 outings to his name and two goals.

The club would like to wish Dylan all the very best for the future and the best of luck as he moves back to his homeland.
