The game was decided on 3 goalkeeping howlers saw the Spartans come away from the game with no points.
Spartans had the best opening of the first half through Chris McCabe. Rob Dale dribbled in from the left wing before finding McCabe on the edge of the penalty area, his effort was parried by home keeper Piotr Skiba.
The closest the home side came to scoring came on the brink of half time. Liam Shepard's free kick was deflected over his own cross bar by Michael Tait.
Within minutes of the restart Tait saw his header tipper over by Skiba.
But on 53 minutes Farsley took the lead. Matthew Young's deep centre from the right wing saw Lee Ellington beat keeper Mark Bell to the cross to head home.
Blyth equalised from a goalkeeping howler by Skiba. From a cross from Josh Gillies saw the home keeper drop the ball at the feet of Dale, who calmly slotted home into an empty net.
Then came mistake number 3. The usual solid and reliable Bell saw the Blyth keeper spill Shepard's long range effort only for Gareth Grant to react the quicker than the Spartans defenders to tap home.
