MAN OF THE MATCH
Robert Dale
Before his untimely departure from the game through a head injury on 55 minutes Dale produced his best performance in a green and white shirt since his return to the club last month. His 99th goal for Spartans was the work of a master craftsman, as he caressed the ball into the goal via the far post.
He then turned provider for Blyth's third goal on 37 minutes when his exquisite first time ball found Dan Groves who finished off a stunning move by firing low past Hinckley 'keeper Dan Haystead. Dale was subject to some rough treatment from the home defenders as they simply couldn't live with the Croft Park favourite on this sort of form.
