Defender Ryan Hutchinson has put pen to paper on a new contract with Blyth Spartans
The former Motherwell and Morpeth Town player has agreed to stay for a second full season at Croft Park, after a season of progression last time out, something acknowledged by manager Tom Wade as he oversaw the centre back sign his new contract.
Wade said "We always knew Ryan would become the player he is. His progression may have been a surprise to some but to us we always knew. He is a fine centre back and his progression last season was great to see. He was arguably our man of the match against Hartlepool United and both myself and Lee Picton are delighted to have him on board again for next season"
Last season - his first full season at the club - Hutchinson made fifty appearances, scoring three goals, the first sealing a 2-1 win away at Halesowen Town in August.
