Introducing Bell's Bottle Bar

Friday, 15 November 2024

Blyth Spartans are pleased to announce that a bottle bar has been installed at Croft Park.

The bar has been installed where the old food hatch at the club shop used to be, and will offer a wide variety of lagers, ciders and other alcoholic drinks - as well as hot drinks and snacks, before and throughout the game.

The bottle bar has been named in honour of legendary striker Scott Bell, who was part of Harry Dunn's treble winning side in 2006.

Joining his boyhood club in 2004, Scott racked up 50 goals in 110 starts for Blyth - finishing as the club's top scorer during Spartans maiden season in the Conference North. He'd depart the club in September 2007, and would sadly pass away just 6 years later, after a battle with Motor Neurone Disease.

The new committee are keen to ensure the club's legends are recognised for the incredible memories they helped create throughout their time at Croft Park and we will ensure Scott's name with have a permanent place at the ground where we grew to love him.
