The club can announce that Joe Kendrick has put pen to paper on a new deal that will see the defender spend the upcoming season at Croft Park.
The 29-year-old arrived at Croft Park, initially on loan, from Mansfield Town before making the move to the Spartans permanent at the start of the season which has just finished - He has amassed 53 appearances in a green and white shirt and has notched an impressive 15 goals in that time, including 9 last season which meant that he was the club's second highest scorer.
Manager Tom Wade was delighted that Joe had committed for the new campaign "I'm really pleased Joe is staying, he's a good lad and great player. He brings a level of experience that we'll need, as we have some young lads in the dressing room and also provides us a with a potent goal threat from set pieces and free kicks."
The player was also pleased to be remaining a Spartan "I'm delighted to have agreed the deal, I've enjoyed my time at Croft Park and I'm really happy at Blyth.
"I'm looking forward to getting going, hopefully we can push on and have a good season and give the fans something to cheer about."
