TEAM NEWS
A late equaliser on Tuesday night at Marine saw Spartans extend their excellent recent away form to six unbeaten. They will need to be on top form again as they travel down to Norfolk to face King's Lynn Town. The Linnets home form is good, with their away from spoiling their chances of a higher place in the table. With strong opposition, and home support to be battling against whilst on the road, Blyth striker Dan Maguire's form in front of goal of late has been second to none, finding two against Marine midweek, pushing him up to 18 goals for the season. Michael Richardson's late strike was enough to leave Liverpool with a point, Blyth will be hoping for all three as they continue to push the play offs with games running out and the margin decreasing, but it is not gone just yet.
Victory for Blyth could see us move up to 7th, should results for Buxton and Barwell go in our favour. With those results, we could move within three points of 6th placed Skelmersdale United and four points behind last play off place holder Curzon Ashton. There is hope still!
