Loan signing | Amantchi joins from Chesterfield

Blyth Spartans are pleased to announce the loan signing of striker Levi Amantchi from National League side Chesterfield until January 2020.
The 18-year-old started his footballing education in the North East at Wallsend Boys End before earning a move to Chesterfield following a successful trial period - where he scored against Sheffield Wednesday.
In October 2018, after spending time in The Spireites academy, Amantchi was offered a professional two-and-a-half contract with an option for a further year by then manager Martin Allen.
"He's quick, strong and hungry and he's another good young player for us to work with in the bright future that lies ahead," said Allen.
Amantchi was highly-rated by Allen and made 11 National League appearances under the former Barnet manager last season.
However, following Allen's dismissal, Amantchi was loaned to Mickleover Sports earlier this year and has since been unable to force his way into John Sheridan's plans.
Indeed, he returns to the North East to help bolster Lee Clark's attack with just three goals scored by Spartans this season so far.
