TEAM NEWS

Blyth managed to record a win on the weekend which resulted in us overtaking Barwell in the league standings and placed us 8th. A victory tonight over Marine, who are currently 22nd and fighting for league survival could see us move up another spot to 7th,but only with us collecting all three points.

Dan Maguire is our top goalscorer in the league this season, with all 16 goals coming from open play, He will be looking to getting closer to the 20 goal mark this evening. Spartans were without starlet winger Jarrett Rivers in their victory over Stourbridge, he may well make a return to the fold. A string of good saves from new goalkeeper Nick Thomson has been impressing spectators of late. He will be looking to add to his tally of clean sheets he has achieved since joining the club on Valentine's Day. He has three clean sheets and only conceded 11 goals in 10 games.

IN THE AWAY DUG OUT

Sean Hessey - Player/Manager - is on loan to the club from Welsh side Prestatyn Town, ex Liverpool, Leeds United, Blackpool & Chester City player.

DANGER MAN

Thomas Peers - Has been a constant goal threat for the Mariners, also includes a hat-trick against fellow strugglers Trafford last month.
