Blyth
Spartans take on Hereford at Croft Park this Saturday as Lee Clark's side look
to win their first points of the campaign.

Spartans
currently find themselves at the foot of the fledging National League North
table after Tuesday night's 3-0 defeat at home to early pacesetters York City.

The hosts
will be hoping for a better outcome than when the sides met at Croft Park last
January. Despite goals from Kieran Green and Bradley Fewster, Hereford ran out
3-2 winners.

The
opposition

After finishing in 17th last season, Hereford have enjoyed a decent start to the season with two wins and a draw in their opening four matches and currently sit fifth in the table.

The Bulls'
last outing was a 1-0 win at home to Telford United with Rowan Liburd grabbing
the only goal of the game after 57 minutes.

Manager

Tim Harris is currently acting as interim manager as Head Coach, Marc Richards, was relieved of his duties just three games into the season.

Harris is
currently The Bulls' Head of Football, but has had previous managerial experience
with Gloucester City, as well as a brief stint as caretaker boss at Newport
County and extensive playing experience in the Football League.

Key man

6ft 5' striker
Rowan Liburd promises to be a handful for the Spartans defence this weekend,
with the striker having opened his account for the season in Hereford's midweek
encounter with Telford. The St. Kitts and Nevis international scored an
impressive 14 goals for Guiseley last season before making a late season move
to Hereford for an undisclosed fee.

Liburd began
his senior career with Billericay Town before his goalscoring exploits earned
him a move to Championship side Reading in 2015. He also gained Football League
experience with Wycombe Wanderers and Stevenage before heading to Guiseley in
2017.
