TEAM NEWS

Blyth now sit 10 points clear from 2nd placed Workington after the 3-0 win at Croft Park over Colwyn Bay. Moving into the month of March it shows the importance of each tie and that we need to take every game as it comes. The introduction of Dan Maguire showed his importance on Saturday as his running pulled the backline of the visitors apart and allowed the wingers to take full advantage. A trip down to Derbyshire to last season's FA Cup rivals Mickleover Sports is on the cards for this Tuesday night.

Blyth have already recorded a 4-0 home win over Sports and a good result on the road on Tuesday will be the aim of Tom Wade. With Matty Wade and Damen Mullen missing from central midfield action, the experienced Paul Robinson and Neal Hooks provided knowledge and skill which held its own against Colwyn Bay on the weekend, something which may be required again in Derbyshire under the floodlights.

Mickleover are currently sat in the relegation zone, just the 1 point from safety so they will be fighting for there lives in their first season in the Northern Premier Division (they secured promotion from the Division One South last term).

OPPOSITION MANAGER

Craig Hopkins - Been in charge since 2013. Won promotion as champions of Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division 1 South last season.
