TEAM NEWS
Blyth Spartans travel to Shaw Lane on Tuesday evening in the Integro Doodson Cup and both sides are in scintillating form, with Blyth unbeaten in nine games and Shaw Lane going eight games without a defeat.
Blyth overcame Halesowen Town in a seven-goal thriller in the Buildbase FA Trophy on Saturday. Goals from Nathan Buddle, Daniel Maguire and a brace from Matty Pattison helped Blyth eventually claim the breathtaking tie with a 4-3 triumph. Meanwhile, Shaw Lane also progressed into the next round of the Buildbase FA Trophy - as they hammered Whitby Town 3-0 at the weekend.
Shaw Lane have been in imperious form this season, having only lost just one game in the league - as they sit second in the Evo-Stik Premier League Division One South, but with games in hand on the leaders.
Ryan Hutchinson and Michael Liddle both missed the game on Saturday and could return to the squad on Tuesday evening.
