Media Team Changes
Wednesday, 31 July 2019
Blyth Spartans is pleased to announce Jordan Cronin as our new Media Manager.
Jordan joined the club in December as a Videographer before stepping into the Chief Press Officer role at the beginning of last season.
His work with Blyth helped him earn a full-time role at JPI Media as a Football Writer, however that has not deterred him from remaining on the club's media team.
Jordan succeeds Stuart Dick who recently entered full-time employment with Durham County Cricket as a Social Media, Digital and Communications Assistant.
Stuart follows a long line of media staff that have successfully moved on into the media on a full-time basis after developing their skills with Spartans.
We thank Stuart for his time, effort and professionalism in his time with us. We wish him all the best and good luck in his new position.
Blyth are also pleased to have Kieran Carr on board, who joins as a Blyth Live commentator, though expressed an interest in helping out in all areas of the media team.
Kieran recently graduated from Sunderland University with a Broadcast Journalism degree.
He brings plenty of media experience and knowledge of the North-East non-league scene having hosted a Saturday sports show on Spark FM.
We are still on the lookout for a Videographer. If you are interested in taking up the role or would like any questions answered, please email: [email protected]
