Blyth Spartans are on the lookout for their third videographer of the season after the latest Alex Fawcett followed a long line of former Blyth Spartans media team members by earning full-time employment in the media field.

  • Have ideas to create content for our video channels, challenges, interviews, features etc.
  • Equipment provided but person must have and interest in videography.

We are also on the lookout for a Social Media Manager who will have editorial control over our social media channels throughout the week and on gamesdays.

The requirements are:

  • Enhance our Sensible World of Spartans social media campaign with more content and features.
  • Regularly posting about news stories and creating content to go on our media channels.
  • Matchday commentary at both home and away games.
  • Promote matchday activities and events to help boost attendances at Croft Park.

Both roles are voluntary, but the experience has led to a number of our media graduates to earn full-time employment at the Sunderland Echo, Durham CCC, West Ham United, BBC, National Football Museum, Non League Paper and the Local Press. Email [email protected] for further details.
