New Signings for the Spartans

Blyth Spartans can announce the signing of former Newcastle United winger James Marwood and Jarrow Roofing striker Michael Hepplewhite.
Marwood, 19, is the son of former Arsenal and Sheffield Wednesday player Brian and is a fast winger, who provides of good crosses and is capable of shooting from distance. He was a member of the Newcastle United side that defeated Blyth in the Northumberland Senior Cup at St James' Park.
Hepplewhite, also 19, has played for Jarrow Roofing this season (where he has scored 6 goals in the league) and is part of manager Mick Tait's Gateshead College side where he is the leading scorer.
Both will be available for selection for tomorrow's FA Trophy fixture with Stafford Rangers.
