In a strange month which saw the Spartans produce excellent performances against Hinckley United and Alfreton Town, as well as horror shows against AFC Telford and Ilkeston Town, the most consistent performer of the month and thus the Port of Blyth Player of the Month goes to Michael Tait.

His hardworking and committed displays in the heart of the Spartans midfield have been the feature of the month and appear to have won over his critics from the start of the season.
