Opposition

AFC Fylde currently sits top of the National League North, five points ahead of second-place Kings Lynn Town. Fylde also have two games in hand on Kings Lynn Town.

In their last match, Fylde beat Gloucester City 2-0 after two first-half-goals from Nick Haughton and Pierce Bird.

What We're Saying

Following a defeat to Chester on Saturday, Graham Fenton said: "It was nothing short of disgusting first half, zero intelligence, zero intensity from far too many players.

"Chester made it look very very easy to play against us, which is when you're at home you can't do that, you can't look easy to play against so I would love to see their GPS stats compared to ours in that first half.

"We were a million miles away from getting up to any sort of intensity with our running, with our thought processes, so they deserved to win and another day if Alex Mitchell hadn't played so well it could have been five or six."

What They're Saying

After a 2-0 win at home to Gloucester City, Adam Murray said: "Yeah I felt we controlled the game, but in the first, I know we scored early, but in the first 20 minutes I felt they caused us a real problem.

"They came here with a game plan, and they were very brave, which I appreciate as a coach, so we had to work a few things out early on, we managed to get a goal early on which was good.

"But we made the game a normality and at this time of the season, that's tough to do. I felt we were excellent with our basics, we did everything that we needed to do to get over the line today."

Last Time We Met

Earlier this month the sides met at Croft Park for the first time this season in what finished a goalless draw.

The last time we faced each other at Mill Park, Fylde ran riot as they won 4-1 after going 4-0 up within 49 minutes, JJ O'Donnell was the goalscorer for Blyth that day.
