Team News

Rhys Evans will be assessed after missing the Gloucester City match due to a muscle injury. Toby Lees will definitley miss out after suffering a fractured cheekbone last weekend.

Opposition

Buxton, who are a newly promoted side, currently sit 16th in the league with five points, having won one and drawn two of their first four-game.

In their last match, they travelled to Hereford where they lost their first league game 2-0.

What We're Saying

After his first home game on his return to Blyth ended in a win, Graham Fenton said: "Probably went as well as it can be expected, you can't do too much in the first few days as we don't want to give them too much information.

"Ultimately what we were looking for today was an improvement from Tuesday as there were a lot of good things from Tuesday."

What They're Saying

Following their defeat to Hereford manager Jamie Vermiglo said: "Hereford turned the screw in the second half after we'd dominated before the break. In the end, we lost too many battles. It's all about goals, They took their chances, but we didn't.

"We're carrying injuries. That's not an excuse, just a fact. Next, there's a doubleheader at the weekend and we'll be a solid test for both opponents, even if we can't be at full strength."

Last Time We Met

The last time the sides met was in March 2017 at the Silverlands Stadium, in the Northern Premier League in a game which finished 2-2, with Dan Maguire scoring a brace for Blyth.

In the reverse fixture at Croft Park, it was another draw between the two sides that finished 0-0.
