Team News

Robbie Dale and Karl Byrne are expected to return, with Rhys Evans and Dan Maguire to be assessed. The match will come too soon for Jordan Hickey but Cameron Painter returns to the squad following his loan spell Billingham Synthonia.

Opposition

Farsley Celtic currently sit one place above Blyth in the National League North in 20th, where they currently have 33 points.

Farsley have lost just one game in their last seven, winning three and drawing three, only losing 3-1 to AFC Fylde since Match 5th.

Last time out, Russ Wilcox saw his side draw to Kettering Town 1-1 at The Citadel, as Jimmy Spencer helped his side gain a point.

What We're Saying

Speaking after the draw, manager Terry Mitchell said: "We are obviously all disappointed as that we had the lead, but I've got to say thought the lads were magnificent.

"We'll prepare exactly the same as we do every week, I'll review this game, then we'll watch Farsley and train, so we will be well prepared for when we come to Croft Park."

Last Time We Met

The sides last met in August in a 1-1 draw at The Citadel as Robbie Dale scored our only goal and Cameron Painter saw red.

The last time the teams battled at Croft Park was in November 2020 in another 1-1 draw as Paul Blackett's 89th minute goal reduced a point for the Spartans.
