Team News
Opposition
Gloucester City currently sits 17th in the league table on 45 points, just three points ahead of the Spartans.
The Tigres will go into the game fresher than Blyth as they have not played since Monday when they drew 1-1 with Boston United as Lucas Tomlinson scored a 94th-minute equaliser.
City have a knack for drawing games recently as all three of their last matches have finished in a 1-1 draw.
What We're Saying
After their tremendous win at St James Park, manager Terry Mitchell said: "It's absolutely brilliant, wen wanted to give the fans a chance and give them something back, so the win was definitely for them.
It was outstanding as most of the fans were ours tonight and we didn't want to finish the season limping over the line, the lads performed last Saturday, backed it up with a win Monday and the lads have done great tonight.
What They're Saying
Speaking after Monday's draw, Gloucester manager Lee Mansell said: "It's been a good end to the season and next week we want to go full-on.
"Hopefully we'll get a lot of numbers through the gate that will be brilliant and create more of an atmosphere.
"We're slowly starting to turn this ship around and the summer is going to be a very important time for us."
Last Time We Met
Blyth reigned victorious earlier in the season at Croft Park as they beat Gloucester 2-0, with goals from JJ O'Donnell and Connor Thomson.
However, the last time the sides faced each other at Meadow Park, the Tigres thrashed the Spartans 6-1 back in October 2020 after Paul Blackett scored the opening goal for Blyth after 2 minutes.
