Lewis McNall says it was a "great feeling" to score his first Blyth Spartans goal.

McNall, who came in for the injured Dan Maguire, headed home Karl Byrne's cross for a 2-0 lead against Darlington after 19 minutes.

Indeed, it was the former Newcastle United youngster's first competitive goal in three years after a torrid time with knee injuries.

McNall played 68 minutes as the Quakers fought back from 2-0 down to earn a point at Croft Park.
