Blyth Spartans got their first three points
of the season and made it back-to-back wins this week.
Spartans had hat-trick hero Callum Roberts to thank as his three stunning solo goals were the difference for Lee Clark's side.
Roberts opened the scoring after 10 minutes with the first shot of the game.
Roberts got his second amazing solo game of
the game on 65 minutes to double Spartans' lead.
AFC Telford cut the deficit with 15 minutes
to go as Darryl Knight headed past Mark Foden.
Roberts got his hat-trick and secured Blyth's first three points of the season smashing home on 87 minutes.
Roberts scored a superb solo game drifting past two defenders on the left-hand side before lobbing delightfully over Adam Wycherley after just 10 minutes.
Joe Robson made a last-ditch slide tackle to deny Brendon Daniels from what seemed a certain goal after 33 minutes.
Spartans almost doubled their lead two minutes
into the second half as Wycherley misjudged the corner before it deflected off
Tom Devitt and required James McQuilkin to clear off the line.
After 54 minutes Robbie Dale cut in from the left and curled an effort goalwards which seemed destined for the top corner but Wycherley managed to tip it around the post.
Adam Walker forced Foden into a superb save
on the hour mark as his shot from the edge of the area was pushed away to
safety by Blyth's 'keeper.
Roberts doubled Blyth's lead as he megged
William Sass Davies on the edge of the box before gliding past another two
defenders and nestling one into the bottom corner from 12-yards out, a truly breathtaking
goal.
Out of nothing, Telford got a goal back through Knight as he just drifted into the box unmarked to send a looping header over the stranded Foden.
Roberts got his second hat-trick in a week as he picked up the ball on the halfway line and squeezed through two Telford players before racing through and finding the bottom corner via the post with three minutes left.
