Robbo agrees to Spartans return as Wade steps up keeper hunt

Midfielder Paul Robinson has agreed to return to Blyth Spartans from EBAC Northern League club Whitley Bay and immediately set his mind on making up for lost time.
Robinson had a spell with Spartans between November 2013 and September 2014, when he left the club for a second spell with the Hillheads club.
However, he has now agreed to make a return to Croft Park and admitted that moving away was a mistake but too the time to pay tribute to his former club.
"It is great to be back and in all honesty I should have never left this place. I am really motivated to do well and can't wait to pull on the famous green and white shirt and play in front of the Green Army again.
I do have thank everyone at Whitley Bay for helping this move happen though. I have had some very special times at the club and they will always remain that way"
Robinson finds a familiar face in the dugout alongside Tom Wade, with assistant manager Lee Picton one of his former Whitley Bay team mates and he revealed that the duo both played a part in his return.
"Pickers and Tom were both massive in my decision to come back to the club. Tom is a top man and is someone I respect, you only have to see the job he has done here. As for Pickers, I have been dying to work under him because he is a superb coach. I can't wait to get started in pre-season"
Wade was also pleased to have Robinson back amongst his options and midfield and also provided an update on the transfer front.
"It is great to have Robbo back, we all know what he can do and I think we can get the best out of him with the style of play both Lee and myself like to encourage.
We are working hard to get the right players in and we are in talks with a very highly rated goalkeeper, amongst others I should add but we know that we need to bring in a keeper. Hopefully we can announce that one over the coming days"
