TEAM NEWS

A tough game awaits Spartans as the battle for the play offs continue on the road to Rushall Olympic. The Pics are placed only one position below Blyth and will be hoping to carry their strong home form into the tie, which will be fought for by both teams. With other teams above the two sides feeling the pressure, three points for either side could be vital towards the end of April.

With the leagues transfer window closing mid-week, Tom Wade secured the names of 3 players from local side Seaton Delaval Amateurs, the side where we signed Dan Maguire from, as backup and new striker Boris Bonket after recent moving to the region. Wade will be hoping that starlet Dan Maguire is fit enough to feature in the tie after coming off during the win at Ilkeston with illness. 7 of the Spartans team members featured in a FA XI team on Tuesday so fitness levels will be measured before the game.
