Season Tickets | Refund update

Wednesday, 7 October 2020

Blyth Spartans chairman Tony Platten has written to update supporters on the refunding of season tickets.

It has been confirmed by the National League, FA and Government that no spectators will be allowed to watch Step 1 and 2 matches for at least three months.

Last week, it was announced a funding package of grants has been agreed with the government, but full details are still yet to be confirmed.

It was anticipated that season ticket holders who were due a credit for the remaining home matches of 2019/20 would be given a discount on their new season tickets.

This is clearly no longer possible.

We are sincerely grateful and thankful to the many season ticket holders who offered to waive their credit to assist with our finances.

However, we recognise that some season ticket holders may not be in a position to do this.

Firstly, we are looking at how to provide free access to our live streams for a number of matches that could be made available as compensation. This remains a work in process.

But again, we understand that solution might not be acceptable to some holders.

We ask all season ticket holders who would prefer a cash refund to contact us at [email protected] and state their name and their preference.

Thank you for your continued support during these challenging times.
