The Barclays Premier League is committing financial support to the Football Conference, with Blyth Spartans being one of the clubs to benefit.
The Premier League has announced a solidarity package with the Conference worth £6m over the next three years.
Conference North Blyth Spartans have received £8,000 this season and are able to bid for up to an extra £12,000 for community development activities.
Premier League Chief Executive, Richard Scudamore, said: "The Premier League and our member clubs recognise the importance of the continued health of football outside of the Football League and it is with this in mind that we have made this commitment to the Football Conference."
Football Conference Chairman, Brian Lee, said: "This is a wonderful gesture of friendship from the Premier League towards the Football Conference."
Tony Platten, Chairman of Blyth Spartans, commented: "The Premier League must take great credit for their foresight. The game at our level needs nurturing and communities need their local sides to prosper. This cash injection, especially bearing in mind the demise of Setanta TV, will certainly help."
