Spartans Release Galas

Blyth Spartans can announce that they won't be offering terms to Yanis Galas for the upcoming season.

The 25-year-old has been training with the Spartans all pre-season and has been involved in the majority of the pre-season games so far.

Manager Steve Cuggy commented "I've spoken to Yanis and explained that I think he needs play some football at a lower level until he adapts to the English game."

"I'd like to thank him for his work during the pre-season and his enthusiasm in training, I'll be ringing around to see if I can help to find him a good Northern League side for this season."
