Spartans to remember former players

Friday, 7 November 2014

The club, represented by among others Chairman Tony Platten, manager Tom Wade and club historian Ken Sproat, will be laying a wreath at the Cenotaph in Blyth on Remembrance Sunday specifically in memory of those players who fell in World War One.

Ken has meticulously researched those former Spartans who lost their lives and they will be featured in the club's next two match Programmes - this Sunday and next Tuesday.
