Stephen Harrison signs for the Spartans
Tuesday, 14 July 2009
Blyth Spartans are pleased to announce that the experienced right full back
Stephen Harrison
has signed for the club.
Stephen, who is 26 years old, started his career at Sunderland and did have a spell with Blyth in 2004 before moving on to play for Gateshead and then Durham City. Stephen was captain of Durham City last season, when they secured promotion to the Unibond Premier League.
New Manager Mick Tait is steadily building a squad of quality players who, with the help of former Newcastle United coach Adam Sadler, he believes will play the sort of open, attacking football that Blyth fans will enjoy and also bring success in the Blue Square North.
