Supporters Club Meeting Minutes (Feb 2009)

Correspondence:

Thank you letter received from Macmillan Cancer Care for framed shirt donation

Various bills have been received and actioned

Letter of resignation received from Ian Burt

Shop:

Various stock items have been received, we are still awaiting delivery of quite a bit of stock

Online shop to re-open next week

(Post Meeting note: Online shop provider has closed down its service - a new online shop will be sourced)

Looking into the possibility of renting a part of a retail unit

Ideas to be sought for items for sale with regard to the centenary of Croft Park

Programme:

Reprint of the Blackburn Rovers FA Cup has been received (150 copies) these will be on-sale both in the club shop and, eventually, on-line

Quality of the match day programme remains very high

Treasurer's Report:

Very healthy even after all outstanding bills have been paid

Various proposals put forward as to how this money could be invested, these will be investigated with the Executive Committee

Any Other Business:

New website will be launched very soon

A laptop and printer have been purchased for the club shop

Various options were discussed as to getting in a Supporters Club phone line into the shop
