Tom Talks | About Darlington 1883 and the next two games

Friday, 22 April 2016

Blyth manager Tom Wade has reacted to Darlington 1883 winning the League.

"Congratulations to them!" he said. "It's been a fantastic fight for the Championship and I wish them the best of luck for next season."

The Spartans boss went on to look to the next couple of games.

"We'll make one or two changes for the Marine game tomorrow. We need to be respectful to the League by not fielding a clearly weakened side as others have done. It's also important that we don't go in to Tuesday's semi-final play-off game on the back of a poor performance or a bad defeat. We need to go in to the play-offs with momentum. We've learned lessons from the past.

"Our focus must be on tomorrow. The play-offs will come round when they do."
